Community Resources for Children: The Alternative Payment Program contributes to the cost of child care for low to moderate income families at a location of their choice. These programs, administered by the California Department of Education (CDE) and California Department of Social Services (CDSS) are state and federally funded.
Cope Family Center: The Family Support Hub provides drop-in support and resources for parents and caregivers during difficult times. Get connected with the programs, services and community resources to help address your concerns and meet your family’s needs.
WIC: The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program helps families across the state by providing nutrition education, breastfeeding support, healthy foods and referrals to health care and other community services. WIC serves infants and children up to age 5 and people who are pregnant or have given birth or experienced pregnancy loss. Partners, grandparents, foster parents of young children and working families are welcome at WIC too!
UpValley Family Center: The Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) is a proven parenting program for parents of children ages 2-16 that increases parenting skills and parenting confidence by engaging, encouraging and empowering families to address common child and adolescent social, emotional and behavioral problems.
Monthly Diaper Program: This program is a partnership with the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano to provide 50 diapers per month per child. Pick up in Solano County. Complete the online form to sign up.

Postpartum Support International (PSI): PSI offers 50+ free and virtual support groups for parents and pregnant people.
Tax Credits: A tax credit is a dollar-for-dollar amount taxpayers claim on their tax return to reduce the income tax they owe. Eligible taxpayers can use them to reduce tax bills and potentially increase refunds. As a parent or guardian of a dependent, there are five tax credits you may be eligible for. Additionally, if you make $67,000 or less, you may qualify for free tax filing assistance.
Food Resources
CalFresh is a state-wide program that helps people buy food at their local farmer's market, grocery store, or online via an EBT card which is used like a debit card. Find out more information about eligibility and how to apply.

Mentis Mental Health Services: Mentis provides FREE, confidential therapy services to active NVC students in-person, on campus. Virtual appointments also available.
Virtual Support
TimelyCare: FREE, confidential 24/7 mental health support is available through a virtual health and well-being platform designed for college students. Includes on-demand emotional support to talk about anything, including anxiety, relationships, depression, and school-related stressors. As well as scheduled Counseling to choose the day, time, and mental health provider that best works for you. (12 visits per year)
