About
Napa Valley College’s Continuing Education is offered throughout the Napa Valley with administrative offices located in St. Helena at the Upper Valley Campusand in Napa on the main campus. The program is comprised of workshops, fee-based Community Educatiion classes, noncredit (no-fee) classes, educational trips and tours, special events, and short-term vocational training programs. Enjoy a variety of classes to choose from in subject areas such as the arts, writing, culinary arts, gardening/outdoors, computer literacy, modern languages and ESL.
LEARNING STATEMENT
After attending a Napa Valley College Continuing Education class, students will be able to use the information received from the class for personal and/or professional development, including a better understanding and/or mastery of specific stated subjects and/or skills.

A slow flowing, mat-based class focused on deeply stretching the body and relaxing the mind. Students are encouraged to engage to the level of their ability and to use props and modifications to support and assist. Classes are 75 minutes and include a long, relaxing final rest, listening to the mesmerizing sounds of crystal singing bowls.
With over 7,000 plant species, California is rich with some of the most amazing biodiversity in the world. Learn how to bring the garden of California natives into your own home. This class will focus on learning the basics of landscaping with native plants. You will learn techniques for planting native plants and successfully establishing them.
Like a sonic massage, lie back and relax as you are bathed in the healing frequencies and sound waves of various instruments. From crystal singing bowls to steel tongue drums, each instrument creates a unique soundscape to help relax the body and mind and realign energy.
Wine Hospitality Training Course

Techniques of Managing a Nonprofit Organization
Do you want an overview to learn, understand or review the techniques and functions of operating and managing a nonprofit organization? This class can be valuable for staff, volunteers, Board members, and those considering starting a nonprofit organization.
