On-Campus Resources
Basic Needs Center Food Basket is available once a month for enrolled Napa Valley College students to pick up 2-3 bags of assorted groceries at room 1202. Students can register on Pantry Soft to make an appointment. Proof of registration may be requested upon check-in. Bring your own bags.
Basic Needs Center "Express Snacks" Are available at room 1202 for students to grab a quick snack between classes. Students can register on Pantry Soft to make an appointment. Proof of registration may be requested upon check-in.
- Basic Needs Center Staff is available to help students complete their applications for CalFresh in person or on the phone. This assistance is available by appointment, email BNC@napavalley.edu to schedule.
- During the Spring 2025 semester, a Napa County Eligibility Specialist will be onsite
at the Basic Needs Center to help support students with their CalFresh eligibility
or application questions. Drop-in support is available during the following days/times:

Community FOod Pantries & Food Distribution Sites
Napa County Food Pantries CANV distributes food to seven food pantries throughout Napa County. These food pantries are open to help on different days of the week and at various times during those days.
Napa County Free Markets are designed to provide more fruits and vegetables to the Napa community regularly, occurring every Friday at various locations.
Food is Free Bay Area distributes food every week at several locations in Solano County.

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC)supplemental foods meet the special nutritional needs of eligible pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, infants, and children up to 5 years old.
