Studio Arts
Rooted in critically engaged studio practice, Napa Valley College's Studio Art program focuses on creating an environment in which critical thinking, problem solving, expression and the development of visual literacy can thrive.
The second story of the Visual Art Center on the Napa Valley College main campus houses the Studio Arts program, offering classes in drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media and two dimensional design. Our faculty teach solid skills and critical thinking so that students can go on to create personally meaningful work that represents their own voice.
