The Criminal Justice Training Center is permanently closed. The Basic Police Academy, 9-1-1 Dispatcher Course, Requalification Course, 832PC Arrest Course, and Corrections Academy will no longer be offered by Napa Valley College. We do not offer the entrance exam for the basic police academy.
We are offering a limited number of in-service law enforcement training courses. Please see the schedule below.
Fee-Based Classes
The following classes are open to sponsored students currently employed by a law enforcement agency. Most classes require that students have at least completed the Basic Police Academy or equivalent.
To view and download a course flier, click on the course title. To register for a class, click on the course date you wish. When the Eventbrite page appears, click the green “Tickets” box, enter the number of seats you wish to pay for and then click the red “Check Out” button at the bottom of the page to complete processing your payment.
Course fees can be paid via Eventbrite by credit card only. Invoicing is no longer available. Payment in full by credit card is required to reserve a seat. Fees become non-refundable 30 days prior to the start of the class. Refunds will include the class cost less the Eventbrite fees (which consists of the payment processing fee and the service fee combined).
Registration for classes can be completed entirely online 24/7 using links on this page. Invoicing for course fees is not available and all fees must be paid in full using a credit card.
Classes that are under enrolled with be canceled 30 days prior to the start of class and course fees will be automatically refunded.

The Napa Valley is the premier culinary and wine making region in the United States and is home to some of the best restaurants in the world. Lodging is not available on campus, but there are many area hotels offering a government rate for law enforcement students. Here are a few located near the training center.

In-service law enforcement classes are held on the main campus of Napa Valley College at 2277 Napa-Vallejo Highway, Napa, California, on the first floor of the 1000 building, in the back (west side) of the campus next the jogging track and tennis courts. Need more specific directions?
Parking is available on campus and a permit is required. Daily permits are available at machines located throughout the parking area.
