Spanish Testing

We are pleased that you wish to enroll in a Spanish class at Napa Valley College.
We hope you enjoy our curriculum and our lively and varied instructors!
Before you enroll, we would like to invite you to try our placement exam to help you
decide which class to choose. Students come from a variety of previous classes (in
high school, another college, immersion programs, etc.), so choosing the right class
is not always that easy or obvious.
The exam takes only about 20 minutes.
You will receive an email notification AUTOMATICALLY of how you did and which class is recommended for your skill level.
Caution: If you don’t do well, don’t worry. Taking the exam will not prevent you from enrolling in the course you wish. It merely gives you a piece of information to help you make more informed choices in your college career. Online placement exams are not a perfect measure of your achievements or skills.

Here are the procedures
- Go to this website to take the testyou’ll already be on the Napa Valley College page.
- You will need to create an account to take the test.
- Once you have taken the exam, save the results and attach them to the Spanish Course Registration Form to enroll in your new course.
