Bio

Hello,  My journey at Napa Valley College began when I enrolled as a student in the fall 1996 semester.  My first job on campus was during the fall 1997 semester as a student worker in the Child Development Center.  After the fall 1997 semester, I decided to take a break from school.  During my break, I became pregnant with my daughter and decided to return after her birth in 1999 to make a better life for the both of us.  I enrolled full-time and graduated in the spring of 2002.  I was both an EOPS and SSS student while at NVC. 

I have worked in the Office of Human Resources, Training & Development since February 2000. I began working as an hourly employee where I continued to work while completing my transfer units and after transferring.  I later finished my bachelor's degree in management at Pacific Union College with honors.  I was hired into the regular position of Human Resources Technician in 2007.  I am currently the Human Resources Specialist, Part-Time Faculty and Personnel Support.
