Program Highlights

NVC’s program provides foundational business coursework alongside opportunities to develop effective communication techniques, successful management styles, strategy formulation, and many other real-world business practices.

The Business Administration program provides students with a broad basis and foundational background in business. The AS in Business Administration degree focuses on the practical skills necessary for students to work in a variety of positions in business, while the AS-T in Business Administration helps establish a foundation of knowledge that can be used as a basis for further study towards a baccalaureate degree at a transfer institution.

In Entrepreneurship classes, students develop the mindset, decision-making skills, and the confidence and relationships necessary to turn ideas into market-ready products,

services, businesses, or ventures. Students may earn a Local Certificate on completion of a two-semester business planning class or add coursework in another field – such as Viticulture or Digital Design – to earn a Certificate of Achievement. They may also pursue a two-year AS degree in Entrepreneurship with the addition of further business courses and general education credits.

Students may earn a Certificate of Achievement in Content Marketing on completion of digital marketing classes and coursework in writing and design.
