Maria Villagomez Named 2021 Administrative/Confidential Employee of the Year

The Administrative Senate of Napa Valley College has announced Maria Villagomez, senior dean, language arts and developmental studies, library and social sciences, has been selected by her peers as the 2020-21 Administrative/Confidential Employee of the Year. She will be formally recognized at the May 13, 2021 Board of Trustees Meeting.

Napa Valley College Participates in Financial Literacy Pilot Program

Robin Darcangelo and Chris Farmer have created a partnership with the California Community College Chancellor’s Office to participate in a pilot program to bring financial literacy to Napa Valley College. NVC’s HSI grant, Caminos al Éxito, is supporting the initiative to train staff and students to support student success and retention through the delivery of useful budgeting and credit-focused financial literacy.

What Were You Wearing Student Survivor Clothing Exhibit on View at Napa Valley College

In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month this April, the Napa Valley College SAVE Taskforce and NEWS Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse Services bring to campus “What Were You Wearing?” Student Survivor Clothing Exhibit. The exhibit is on view in Napa Valley College’s Student Activity Center.
