Napa Valley College Hosts OLE Health Food Drive
Rosaura Segura, president, Napa Valley College Board of Trustees, (right) was one of the many volunteers who helped prepare 2,000 bags of food for the nearly 1,000 plus families who visited the campus for OLE health’s free food distribution on Friday, May 22. Here she is with Guadalupe Villasenor, OLE Health community outreach supervisor, at Friday’s free food distribution event at Napa Valley College.
The local health nonprofit seeks to provide holistic care to the most vulnerable of Napa’s residents, many of whom are very low- to low-income and lack steady access to fresh produce and nutritious ingredients even during ordinary times.
