Mark Corbett Named New Head Women’s Soccer Coach
Mark is a UEFA A licensed coach, has a BSc Degree in Football Coaching, Development and Administration. With over 10 years of experience developing academy players at Portsmouth F.C., he has also coached at Chelsea F.C. and MLS Camps.
Prior to joining Napa Valley College, Mark has been both a player – including representing the England National Team at Beach Soccer – and a coach with managerial experiences in senior semi-professional soccer in England for over 15 years. Corbett will not only be taking on this role as Head Coach, but he will also be head of Napa United Girls Development and will be responsible for oversight of all areas within the girls soccer program for club and academy programs.
Mark is also head coach of Napa Valley 1839 F.C. which is part of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). NPSL players have gone on to sign professional contracts with MLS teams, European clubs, and also play for their respective national teams.
