Potential Paramedic Academy Cadets!!!

Thank you for your interest in the Napa Valley College Paramedic Program – we are excited to meet you at one of our upcoming Paramedic Academy, Cohort 18 (2025) orientation sessions and hope that you will find that our program is a good match for you and your career goals.

• February 1, 2025 @ 10:00 a.m. in Room 1013
• March 1, 2025 @ 10:00 am in Room 1013

At these sessions we will go over some basic information such as:

• Approximate program costs.
• What to expect as a cadet in our academy.
• The philosophy of the program.
• Pre-requisites.
• The selection processes.
• Answer your other questions.

Attendance at these sessions is not mandatory but is highly recommended.

Accreditation

The Emergency Medical and Paramedic Programs are accredited by multiple agencies at both the national, state, and local levels.  Typically the local agencies are responsible for local jurisdiction accreditation while the national agencies are the overarching accrediting agencies that are responsible for overall accreditation of the program.  All agencies associated with accreditation of the Napa Valley College EMS/Paramedic Programs are listed below in hierarchical fashion:

In accordance with CoAEMSP disclosure requirements, the Napa Valley College Paramedic Academy reports the following information on its students:

• National Registry of EMTs Written and Practical Examination passing rate, 2021: 93.8%
• Retention rate (percentage of students graduating from the program), 2021: 84.2%
• Positive placement (percentage of students who are employed as paramedics), 2021: 100%
