Using your High School Transcript to place into Napa Valley College's math sequence is a simple process.
Obtain an unofficial copy of your high school transcript showing the completion of the courses identified to use for placement and the grades received in those courses.
If you are unsure which courses can be used for placement into the NVC mathematics sequence, please see our
Placement Tool for details on what your options are.
Find out where you are in
NVC's Entry Level Math Sequence.
Complete the Pre-Requisite Equivalency Form.
The form must be completed in its entirety, including your student ID. The name on your student record must match the name on the accompanying transcript. To assist you in completing this document, here is a table of commonly requested pre-requisite equivalencies.
Email the completed form along with the unofficial copy of your transcript as attachments to ANRmail@napavalley.edu or simply bring both forms to the NVC Admissions and Records office located in the 1300 building of Napa Valley College's main campus.
Plan ahead! During peak times it can take 7-10 business days to process your request.
