Napa Valley College Board Policy prohibits anyone from committing acts of sexual assault, sexual misconduct, relationship (dating & domestic) violence, or stalking, on District property. Any such act is a violation of District policies and procedures, and is subject to all applicable punishment, including criminal procedures and employee or student discipline procedures.
The District recognizes the traumatic nature of such events and is committed to upholding the dignity survivors and that they receive appropriate and comprehensive assistance, information, and treatment.
The College also recognizes the need to educate people about sexual assault, sexual misconduct, relationship (dating & domestic) violence, and stalking, and has established procedures and programs that ensures that students, faculty, and staff receive information about preventing such acts and crimes.
We empower individuals to realize their own capacities and strengths, and we believe that individuals are best equipped to understand their needs and abilities.
