Hello, and welcome to my website! I teach two classes here at NVC: Biology 117 (Wildlife Biology) in the spring, and Biology 112 (Introduction to Ecology) in the fall. Lecture materials and outlines for these classes can be found by clicking the links on the left. I add new material to these websites throughout the active semester, so check back frequently for updates.
For my day job, I am a biologist with the Napa County Resource Conservation District (www.naparcd.org). I have worked in Napa County since 2001, primarily focusing on fisheries and wildlife research, monitoring, and public education. I hold a Master of Science degree in Biology with an emphasis in aquatic ecology from California State University East Bay where I studied the effects of habitat restoration on native fish populations in tidal marshes of San Francisco Bay.
