Public Hearing on Final Map of Napa Valley College Trustee Areas Using 2020 Census Data
The public is invited to attend the Final Map Public Hearing on updated Trustee areas for Napa Valley College using 2020 US Census data on Thursday February 17, 2022 at 5 p.m. Attendance at the hearing will be virtual only at this link: https://cccconfer.zoom.us/j/91917840829
“I encourage everyone interested in commenting on the final maps of trustee areas for the college for the next decade to attend the hearing,” commented Napa County Registrar of Voters John Tuteur, who is staffing the redistricting process on behalf of the college.
Redistricting is the regular process of adjusting the lines of voting districts in accordance with population shifts. Each county with district-based elections is required to update (“redistrict”) the district boundaries every ten years, following the receipt of the 2020 population data from the federal census.
Please contact Registrar of Voters John Tuteur at john.tuteur@countyofnapa.org or 707-253-4459 with questions or comments.
