Scholarship season opens for Napa Valley College students

Scholarship season opens for

Napa Valley College students

More than $200,000 in scholarship funds are available to qualified Napa Valley College students who apply by Feb. 7.

The scholarship awards – ranging from $300 to $5,000 each – come from the Napa Valley College Foundation and community organizations.

The Foundation is actively seeking scholarship applicants, particularly for areas of study such as Vineyard and Winery Technology and Fine and Performing Arts.

Students who are recommended by a faculty member can apply online by using the AwardSpring application program. A Scholarship Application Workshop Power Point presentation can be found on the scholarship website, http://www.napavalley.edu/studentaffairs/FinancialAid/Scholarships/Pages/AwardSpring-Instructions-and-Supplemental-Forms.aspx

Faculty recommendations must be received via the AwardSpring application program, not online or on paper.

Once their online applications are submitted, students will receive confirmation by email.

Further details are available from Scholarship Program Coordinator Valerie Mull in the Financial Aid/EOPS Office at (707) 256-7306 or vmull@napavalley.edu.
