Effective July 6, Sandy Barros will become one of two Student Services Specialists in Disability Support Programs & Services (DSPS), announced Oscar De Haro, Assistant Superintendent/VP of Student Affairs.
"Sandy is not a new face to campus nor to the DSPS Program," said De Haro. "She has been with HVC for 20 years, working in several of our offices such as HSI, Project Rise, the Office of Equity and Inclusivity, HSI-STEM, Workability III and the pre-college Upward Bound Program.
"Her wealth of experience will be an additional asset toward serving our students in general, and DSPS students in particular. She is also fluent in Spanish."
Her office with the DSPS program is located on the second floor of the Library and Learning Resource Center.
