Claudette Shatto is new tenure-track Business Study faculty member
Claudette Shatto, who has been the full time leave replacement faculty for the Business Studies program, will be the tenure-track Business Study faculty member in fall of 2017, announced Dianna Chiabotti, Dean, Career Technical Education and Economic Workforce Development.
Claudette earned an Associate of Arts degree in Wine and Sales Marketing from Napa Valley College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications at California State University, Sacramento and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix.
She has served Napa Valley College as an adjunct Instructor since 2015 and a Business Advisor since 2016. She has also worked at Cellarpass.com in business development since 2016 and V. Sattui Winery from 2000 to 2016. She served in a variety of roles at V. Sattui Winery, including Vice President of Marketing and Sales, from 2007 to 2016.
In addition, Claudette has attended specialized trainings of the Small Business/Entrepreneurship sector through the Doing What Matters for Jobs and Economy initiative of the CCC Chancellor's Office.
"She has shared her wealth of experience, enthusiasm, and expertise with our division this semester and we are excited to have her as tenure-track faculty member and part of our team," said Dean Chiabotti.
