Full-time English teachers John Kincheloe and Matt Kronzer have been introduced to the campus community by Language Arts Developmental Studies division chair Karen Larsen.
John Kincheloe received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara, earned both a Single Subject Teaching Credential in English and a Multiple Subjects Credential at CSU, Chico, and finally, received a Master of Arts in English from Sonoma State University.
John has taught at Santa Rosa Junior College, Chabot College, Sonoma State University and College of Marin. He specializes in teaching all forms of writing, critical thinking, and rhetorical study, with a focus on the use of technology and online media, as well as the philosophy and management of writing centers.
He loves teaching about technology and media, human rights and social movements, and science fiction/fantasy literature.
The hobby he loves most is doing anything with his wife and four-month-old son.
Matt Kronzer received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from UC Davis and a Master of Arts in English from CSU Sacramento. Currently, he is completing his dissertation at CSU, Sacramento for a Doctorate in Education.
Before joining NVC, Matt taught numerous composition courses at Sierra College, American River College, and CSU, Sacramento.
Matt's teaching interests in composition include developing literacies and writing across academic disciplines.
