Announces Auditions for
The Three Musketeers
 
Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 2pm and Monday, August 18, 2014 at 7pm
Main Stage of the Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center

Napa, CA –Napa Valley Conservatory Theater, the resident theater of Napa Valley College, will be holding auditions for The Three Musketeers, by Ken Ludwig, from the novel by Alexandre Dumas.  Jennifer King (Napa Valley Conservatory Theater Artistic Director and Napa Valley College Professor of Theater Arts) will be directing this “swashbuckling”[1] adventure.  Performance dates for The Three Musketeers will be November 8-16, 2014.   Auditions will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 2pm and Monday, August 18, 2014 at 7pm on the Performing Arts Center Main Stage at Napa Valley College. The Paul Ash Lobby of the Performing Arts Center will open 30 minutes prior to complete paperwork. No appointment is necessary.  Be prepared to read from a provided script and be seen in the order of arrival.  Please bring comfortable clothing and shoes you can move in, as there will be ‘fight choreography’ movement.

The roles that will be cast are: D'Artagnan, Athos, Porthos, Aramis, Cardinal Richelieu, Rochefort, Stanley, King Louis XIII, D'Artagnan’s Father, Basille, Fouquet Fache, Treville, Duke of Buckingham, Ravanche, Ruffian, Innkeeper, DeBris, Sabine, Milady, Old Woman,  Constance Bonacieux, Adele, Sister at school, Queen Anne, D'Artagnan’s Mother, Elise, Mother Superior, and Abbess.
