NAPA, CA, MARCH 20, 2019 – Napa Valley College will host its 76th annual Founder's Day in honor of founding president Dr. Harry McPherson on Thursday, April 25, from 1-6 p.m.
The free, family-friendly event will feature the debut of Napa Valley College's first-ever pop-up market showcasing some 25 student vendors selling their wares, and offering an afternoon of fun and activities, including live music, art installations, food trucks, games and fun, a photo wall, and more.
In business classes at the college, students will work on their product/service concept, marketing plan and business plan. The pop-up market will provide an opportunity for budding entrepreneurs to explore their product/service, and students without a project will serve as a student-run marketing and events team to support the celebration. The Founder's Day Celebration will take place on the McCarthy Library Plaza at Napa Valley College, 2277 Napa-Vallejo Highway in Napa. For more information, visit napavalley.edu/foundersday or call 707-256-7110.
